Liverpool's Star Offers Statement to Teammates, Reveals Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has shared that the Egyptian forward said sorry to the team in the wake of the uproar from his public comments.

The striker was dropped from a key Champions League match after making accusations and stating his rapport with Arne Slot had soured.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, I'm sorry.’”
Arne Slot has chosen not to disclose on whether he got an explanation from the veteran striker.
Moving Forward
Jones insisted that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “He was his usual self, his demeanour was positive and it was business as usual,” he continued.
He also implied that a competitor wanting to play is less of an issue. “It's clear there are specific approaches you can go about things,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just be on the bench, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
Positive Results
The team's performance have stayed unbeaten in the period after the interview fallout. Jones believes the outburst were not designed to cause disruption.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it has consistently come from a desire to win,” he finished. “That chapter is closed and we’re building chemistry, getting results and on a positive run.”
