President Trump Welcomes Relatives of Injured Guard Personnel to the White House
President Trump revealed on the weekend that he has invited the family of a National Guard member tragically killed last week to come to the executive mansion.
He noted that he spoke to her parents and they were âheartbrokenâ.

The commander-in-chief stated heâs discussed a White House visit for the families of both soldiers of the state Guard.
âI stated: âWhen youâre able, because thatâs a hard experience, arrive at the White House. Weâre going to honor Sarah,â the president told reporters. âAnd in the same way with him, whether he recovers or not.â

Attendees assembled over the weekend at Webster County high school in West Virginia to honor Sarah.
Both the soldiers had been fulfilling duties with the West Virginia National Guard as part of Trumpâs national effort to support policing efforts in DC.

She carried herself with calm resilience, a bright grin and a upbeat demeanor that lifted people around her,â Jarrod Hankins, the leader of Beckstromâs former high school, stated to the media. âShe was kind, considerate and always willing to support those in need.â

Authorities have charged a twenty-nine-year-old Afghan national with one count of homicide and two counts of attempted murder while armed.
The event led the Trump administration to halt refugee claims and temporarily stop providing entry permits to possessors of Afghan passports.

Wolfe, a native of the city, started his military career in early 2019 and is a 2019 graduate of Musselman high school, per the AP.
